A knot for tying two fishing lines of different diameters. Good for tying monofilament or fluorocarbon line to braided line. This knot fits very well through the guides in the rod. It is important to lay the turns tightly one to one, without allowing them to overlap. Despite the apparent simplicity of the knot, it is not always possible to lay the turns correctly; the knot requires training.
