Snell with Loop

Snell with Loop

This is a simple and effective knot from the Snell knot group. In all these knots, the shank of the hook and the main fishing line are tightly pressed against each other by a braid of a large number of turns of fishing line. This variation of the Snell knot is especially easy to knit on small hooks, since you do not need to thread the line into a small loop with each turn.
