This is an extremely strong knot that is used in sea fishing. This knot forms a loop at the end of the line. The strength of this unit under static load is 100% of the strength of a fishing line. However, laboratory tests show that due to friction inside the knot, it does not hold shock load well - in this case, the strength of the knot is only 50% of the strength of the fishing line.
